Daniel May - Speed One Sports new Digital Marketing Intern

It has been two weeks now since I started my new position as a Digital Marketing Intern at Speed One Sports. I am really enjoying the experience of working in a fast-paced environment and applying skills I have learnt in my first two years at Birmingham City University, and continuing to develop my Digital Marketing skills.

I first worked with Tony through the Universities ‘The Link Agency’, where in a team we came up with new branding ideas for Speed One Sports. From the first meeting, I was very invested in their plan to drive the company forward, and I am grateful to Tony for giving me the opportunity to work for him at Speed One Sports.

So far, I have been working on a marketing strategy to develop Speed One Sports socials, talking to Speed One Sports clients about their partnerships and writing blog posts about exciting projects that the team are currently involved with. I am looking forward to sharing this with the wider community.

Everything so far has been new to me, especially working from home, but I am looking forward to continuing my development, and working to the company’s mantra of #TheNameMakingTheNoise.
